If music be the food of love
Here are some extra nature sound tracks for you to enjoy. They may take a few minutes to download on a modem, but just a few seconds on broadband. They are all 2 minutes long. You can save them to your computer or play them directly from this web page when prompted.
Computer software
I usually play these at low volume in the background whilst working on my computer. You can generate these sounds yourselves by downloading the program that generates them, called Atmosphere Lite. This is a free version of its grown up brother, Atmosphere Deluxe both by Relaxing Software. If you like the free version enough you might be tempted to pay the $30 of the Deluxe version which has considerably more options. As the web site says: "Atmosphere creates extremely authentic sounds, and you will never hear exactly the same sequence twice. Have you ever bought a relaxing sound of nature CD, only to find that after a few listens, you know exactly what's coming next? You'll never have that problem again."
Needless to say, I have absolutely no connection with the product or website, I put the details here purely in the interests of letting you know about this product, which as a bird friendly gardener, I enjoy now and again. You could even play it in the garden! |
Technial stuff
